Ohni-Hime, daughter of Yoshinobu (the uncle who murdered Kintoki's family in a coup), is Kintoki's cousin. A childhood misunderstanding—Kintoki being raised as a boy for protection—sparks Ohni-Hime's deep obsession, believing Kintoki male. This obsession defines her motivations into adulthood.

Emerging as the bandit leader Shuten Dōji, Ohni-Hime commands the Oeyama bandits, demonic superhumans slaughtering villages. Her group contributes to the capital's unrest alongside disease and political instability, acting in secret collaboration with Fujiwara no Michinaga, a noble exploiting the chaos to expand his political control.

Ohni-Hime's primary goal remains forcibly marrying Kintoki, whom she still perceives as a man. This drives her actions: ordering the capital burned, orchestrating Kintoki's abduction, kidnapping young princesses, and employing unsettling magical rituals implied to involve spirit possession. She collaborates closely with the rebel Taira no Masakado, her follower within the bandits.

Cursed by a malicious ogre, this supernatural element fuels her transformation into Kintoki's ultimate enemy. Her storyline culminates in a confrontation with Kintoki at the Oeyama bandit stronghold—an unresolved clash leaving her ultimate fate unknown.
