#22 is an assassin for the Doress Secret Organization, assigned to eliminate the escaped Ikuro Hashizawa and recapture the psychic girl Sumire. He executes his missions with absolute priority. A fleeting sense of remorse surfaces regarding his young targets, acknowledging pity for their youth and a stated reluctance to "spoil innocence," yet this never hinders his blade.

He initiates his pursuit by ambushing Ikuro and Sumire shortly after their escape, stabbing Ikuro in the back with a combat knife and forcing them to flee on a stolen motorcycle. Tracking them to a gas station, #22 ambushes Ikuro again, slitting his throat and attempting to incinerate the body. This near-fatal wound triggers Ikuro's first transformation into the creature Baoh. The newly formed Baoh attacks #22, who flees in terror. Baoh catches him and employs the Meltedin Palm Phenomenon, secreting corrosive enzymes that melt #22's head, causing immediate death. His corpse is later displayed by Dr. Kasuminome during a briefing to demonstrate Baoh's lethal capabilities to the organization's leadership.
