Ikuya Sawaki is a veteran Japanese voice actor born on August 25, 1951, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. His real name is Yoshinobu Mikami, and he has been active in the voice acting industry since 1976. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Arts Vision.
Sawaki has built an extensive career across many decades, lending his voice to a vast array of characters in anime, original video animations, video games, and tokusatsu productions. He is also prolific in the field of dubbing, providing the Japanese voices for numerous foreign films and television series.
One of his most prominent and recognizable roles in recent years is Admiral Fujitora (Issho) in the long-running anime series One Piece.
