Demitok appears exclusively in the Panzer Dragoon OVA adaptation. He hunts alongside the protagonist Kyle and Kyle's blind girlfriend, Alita, in a sunburnt valley. During their expedition, the group witnesses a battle between two dragons overhead. Seeking shelter, they enter a cave where the dragon conflict intensifies. The Black Dragon captures Alita and fuses her into its structure. Demitok attempts to shield Kyle from the Black Dragon's attack but is instantly killed by its energy blast approximately six minutes into the OVA. His death provides Kyle with personal motivation to pursue the Black Dragon alongside the Blue Dragon, beyond the dying request of the Blue Dragon's rider from the original game. The OVA introduces both Demitok and Alita as original characters not present in the video game source material. Demitok's brief role establishes early stakes and emotional impetus for Kyle's journey; his background, relationships beyond the hunting scene, and further character development within the franchise remain unexplored.
