Description
Ken Taiga is a 12-year-old sixth grader living in Hokkaido. Initially displaying immature behavior like skirt-flipping and voyeurism, his ordinary life shatters when the Dragon Empire attacks, awakening the sealed devil god Jashin Drago. Amidst this chaos, Ken awakens to his lineage as a descendant of the Lion Clan, a bloodline historically tied to the divine Liger. This heritage manifests as a birthmark on his hand, enabling his transformation into the biomechanical armor Jushin Liger by shouting "LIGER!" The armor fuses with his body, resembling a demonic entity with streaming hair and granting enhanced combat prowess.
His grandfather, Ryuzo Taiga, acts as his mentor, unveiling their family's connection to Liger and the ancient war against Drago. Ken fights alongside allies: his classmate Goro Dan and the Kamishiro twins, Yui and Mai, later revealed as his relatives. The twins possess psychic abilities and summon the mechanical steed Begaruda, which Liger utilizes in battle.
