Description
Alice (Kitty) appears as an anthropomorphic Japanese bobtail cat, wearing a long-sleeved dress with beady eyes, distinct from human depictions of Alice. Her design incorporates Hello Kitty's iconic elements within the Wonderland setting.
Resting under a tree with her older sister, she impulsively follows a rabbit complaining about lateness. This leads her to plunge through a splitting hole in the ground. Driven by curiosity, she devours unidentified "clear orange juice" and a green liquid, triggering repeated size alterations that hinder her navigation of Wonderland.
Interacting with Wonderland's inhabitants, she maintains core traits of curiosity and kindness. She helps animals dry their fur by suggesting a race after flooding a room with her tears. Later, she tries to return misplaced items (a fan and gloves) to the rabbit and defends the Jack of Hearts during the Queen of Hearts' trial by challenging the Mad Hatter's credibility, demonstrating empathy and a sense of justice.
Her journey involves adapting through trial and error. Following a caterpillar's direction, eating mushroom halves causes extreme neck elongation, likening her to a giraffe and provoking a bird's wrath. She corrects this by consuming the opposite half. A final growth spurt during the trial sequence results in her destroying the courthouse and repelling guards before a vortex sweeps her away.
She awakens suddenly under the tree, relating the experience to her sister as a dream blending moments of enjoyment with fear, framing her Wonderland journey as a temporary departure from reality.
