Description
Jhin Syulargun serves as the primary sniper for the Empire's 907th Unit. He survived Crosswell Nes Lubigate's brutal training program alongside Iska, the only two candidates to do so. Limited by Crosswell's swordsmanship focus, Jhin independently honed his exceptional gunmanship, aided by his family's gunsmithing background.

Characterized by calmness and analytical thinking, Jhin maintains composure in combat, often employing dry wit and sarcasm. He delivers realistic assessments and blunt communication, particularly to Captain Mismis Klass. Despite this, he exhibits fierce loyalty to his comrades, reacting with uncharacteristic anger towards threats against them, as shown when confronting Lord Mask over Mismis's astral spirit possession. His sharp observational skills enable tactical insights, like identifying disguised astral mages through weapon handling or detecting subtle changes in allies.

Jhin's capabilities include exceptional marksmanship, allowing precise targeting of armor weaknesses under adverse conditions. He expertly adjusts for environmental factors like wind resistance and projectile variations, demonstrated during the Mudor Canyon vortex mission. His combat perception predicts enemy movements, anticipating Lord Mask's attack patterns. Rigorous physical training with Iska granted him heightened reflexes, enabling reactions to surprise assaults, including teleportation tactics.

Throughout deployments, Jhin participated in critical missions like the Nelka Forest ambush and the Mudor Canyon vortex incident. After Mismis developed an astral crest from vortex exposure, he supported her without discrimination, using an artificial crest device to conceal her condition during the Alcatroz infiltration. His dedication was further demonstrated when he took bullet wounds protecting Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX from Lord Mask at the Alsamira oil plant, resulting in a right arm injury requiring prosthetic replacement.

His relationship with Iska functions as both partnership and balance, built on shared training and mutual trust. Jhin acts as Iska's stabilizing influence, a role designated by Crosswell to counter impulsiveness. Interactions with Sisbell began antagonistically but evolved into protectiveness, silencing insults toward her family with warning shots. He displays particular protectiveness toward Mismis, directly linking his confrontation with Lord Mask to her suffering.

Later missions involved exposing political schemes, such as identifying Elletear Lou Nebulis IX's deception during the Hydra family incident and revealing Talisman's betrayal. During the Lou family villa assault, he distinguished imperial impersonators and supported Sisbell's evacuation. His presence continued through significant events, including Sisbell's historical projection of the war's origins.
