Description
Zororeene is the deceased mother of protagonist Zorori, influencing his life from heaven. Her appearance varies: in heavenly depictions, she resembles Zorori as a yellow fox with curly orange hair, wearing a white gown and halo. Earthly manifestations show her as a spirit without the gown, featuring a wispy tail. A younger version appears in "The Secret of Double Z," depicted in casual attire including a pink shirt, white vest, jeans, necklace, and ponytail.

Her personality centers on kindness and care, particularly towards her son, consistently prioritizing his wellbeing. She displays sternness when necessary, such as admonishing him for failing to achieve his goals before her death, coexisting with deep maternal concern for his life direction. Her younger self retains this fundamental kindness while showcasing additional traits as a clever trickster skilled in deception, mirroring Zorori's mischievous tendencies.

Zororeene's history begins with meeting Zorondo Ron during high school, though they initially parted ways. She pursued fashion design education until a kaiju attack interrupted her studies, leading to a reunion when Zorondo rescued her. They married and had Zorori. Her life ended due to a mysterious illness around the time Zorori reached adulthood. This loss directly motivated Zorori's ambition to become the "greatest thief" as a tribute to her.

"The Secret of Double Z" significantly expands her narrative. When Zorori accidentally travels back in time via a malfunctioning alarm clock, he encounters her younger self—known then as Lori. In this era, she is a fashion student who aids Zorori and his apprentices after their crash landing. This encounter clarifies the origin of the "ZZ" emblem on Zorori's costume: she personally embroiders it onto his clothing. The film's central conflict involves her being swallowed by a monster, necessitating a rescue effort by Zorori and Zorondo.

Her influence extends beyond this temporal interaction. A recurring theme involves Zorori grieving on her birthday, reflecting her enduring emotional impact. In one instance, this grief motivates him to help a distressed fox mother, indirectly leading to a treasure discovery. Though the treasure is largely abandoned, Zorori gifts a diamond from it to the mother's child, demonstrating how Zororeene's memory shapes his actions toward others.
