Noriko Sudo, a university student entangled in the occult research club’s perilous activities, joins a group investigating the Tokugawa treasure. Their accidental theft of the “stone of life” from an enshrined mummy awakens the ancient entities Euphrosyne Studion and Alma V, catalyzing a chain of catastrophic events. When a reanimated entity slaughters her friends during a field trip, Noriko narrowly escapes as the sole survivor. Her reprieve proves fleeting: Mako Takanashi, betraying her brother Shuichiro, murders Noriko and disguises her death as collateral amid the chaos. After Euphrosyne defeats Mako, Alma V approaches Noriko’s corpse, urging her to relinquish the memories of her traumatic demise.
