Description
Basara Tōjō, a former prodigy of the Hero Clan, was exiled following a tragic incident from his childhood. As a B-Rank hero, he was present when an evil spirit, having possessed a male hero wielding the cursed sword Brynhildr, went on a rampage and killed numerous adults and children. In a desperate attempt to save his childhood friend Yuki Nonaka, Basara’s unique ability, Banishing Shift, spiraled out of control. The ensuing annihilation erased not only the evil spirit and the possessed hero but also the remains of the deceased, carving a massive crater and causing widespread destruction. Deemed too dangerous by the village elders, Basara and his father were cast out from the clan. The event left him with profound psychological trauma, resulting in frequent nightmares and a deep-seated fear of using his powers, especially Banishing Shift and Brynhildr. His body bears numerous scars from the incident, which he later claims resulted from a car accident.

His heritage is a unique fusion of three lineages. He is the biological son of Jin Tōjō, a powerful hero who consumed the blood of the dragon Fafnir, and Sapphire, a demon lord-class demoness and sister of the previous Demon Lord. Due to the perils of carrying a hybrid child in the Demon Realm, the embryo was transferred into Raphaeline, a member of the Ten Gods of the Divine Realm, who served as his surrogate mother. This makes Basara a hybrid of hero, demon, and god. After a brief period in the Divine Realm, he was given to his father to be raised in the Human World.

After their exile, Basara and his father settled in the human world, striving for normalcy. His father worked as a photographer, and Basara enrolled as a student at Hijirigasaka Academy. Their lives shifted when his father announced a remarriage, introducing Basara to his new stepsisters, Mio and Maria Naruse. This arrangement was later revealed to be a ruse to provide a safe house for the sisters, who were demons fleeing the new Demon Lord faction. Mio, the daughter of the previous Demon Lord Wilbert, was hunted for her inherited powers. When the sisters tried to magically force Basara from the house, his innate magic resistance caused their attempt to fail. After learning the truth from his father and understanding their plight, Basara chose to protect them and vowed to act as their older brother.

To bolster their ability to protect Mio, Maria initiated a Master-Servant Pact. An error in the process resulted in Basara becoming the master and Mio the servant, reversing the intended roles. Infused with succubus magic, the pact imposes specific conditions: disloyalty or disobedience by the servant triggers intense aphrodisiac effects, relieved only through physical contact with the master. This frequently leads to sexually charged situations. The contract allows Basara to sense his servants’ locations and, through repeated interactions, gradually amplifies the power of all involved. Basara later forms similar pacts with Yuki Nonaka and Zest, among others, effectively creating a battle harem. The power growth from these contracts accelerates through erotic and sexual interactions.

Basara wields a range of supernatural abilities drawn from his mixed heritage and training. His primary power is Banishing Shift, inherited from his father, who acquired it from the dragon Fafnir. Initially a counter-attack, it nullifies magical or physical assaults by banishing them to a zero-dimensional space, effectively erasing them from existence. It can also erase living beings and their surroundings, as demonstrated with the evil spirit. In his demon form or at full power, he uses it proactively without restriction. A master swordsman, he wields the demonic sword Brynhildr, which contains a sealed evil spirit. In life-threatening situations, the spirit can possess him, triggering a demon form marked by enhanced regeneration and ruthless action to preserve his life. Brynhildr can seal demons, absorb the souls of those it kills to steal their abilities, and is stored within a dimensional space.

A speed-type hero, Basara specializes in high-speed combat. He employs the Infinite Slayer technique, moving at imperceptible speeds to close distances and deliver rapid, successive attacks, often creating afterimages to confuse opponents. His physical capabilities are superhuman, encompassing strength, durability, stamina, and accelerated healing. The Master-Servant Contracts further enhance all these attributes over time. He also possesses magic resistance, granting immunity to low-level spells and mental attacks. Later, by achieving a perfect spiritual balance of his three bloodlines and gaining the power of the five elements from his servants, he reaches new heights of power, classified as S-Rank and rivaling the strongest gods.

In personality, Basara is generally laid-back and collected, maintaining a calm demeanor in daily life and awkward situations, though he can display shock, annoyance, or anger when provoked. He is deeply compassionate and holds a strong belief in family, fiercely protecting those he cares about, even if it means fighting former allies or gods. This protective instinct can shift into a frenzied state if his loved ones are seriously harmed or believed killed. Beneath his kind exterior lies a more dominant, possessive, and sexually sadistic side, which surfaces within the Master-Servant dynamic and is further drawn out through his interactions with Chisato Hasegawa. He is also a strategic and analytical thinker, capable of crafting complex plans and making ruthless decisions to eliminate threats, such as secretly killing adversaries before formal confrontations.

Throughout his journey, Basara undergoes significant development. He gradually overcomes the trauma of his past, learning to control his powers without fear. His relationships with Mio, Maria, Yuki, Zest, and others deepen, evolving from protection into genuine love and mutual respect. He becomes a unifying figure for a group of women from conflicting hero, demon, and god factions, turning them into a cohesive team. By the story’s end, these women become his wives and are pregnant with his children. His power grows exponentially through contracts and battles, eventually reaching a level that rivals the strongest deities, and he achieves a perfect balance of his hero, demon, and god bloodlines.
