Description
Yakyō Higashigo holds the position of Vice-President at his family's East Side Grand Hotel. His relationship with his younger brother, Sui, remains strained due to unresolved personal conflicts. Although he cherishes childhood memories of their grandfather's tea house, Rokuhōdō, he actively avoids it as an adult, explicitly stating he "doesn't belong there," revealing a sense of alienation from his family heritage.
He presents a stoic, reserved, and often silent and distant demeanor. This contrasts sharply with Sui's persistent desire to reconcile. Eisuke Tsunozaki, a renowned pâtissier at the East Side Grand Hotel, serves as Yakyō's friend and intermediary. Motivated by loyalty to Yakyō and an implied goal of fostering reconciliation, Tsunozaki visits Rokuhōdō to gain a better understanding of Sui.
