Takahiro Ise is Asuka Morisaki's childhood friend and one of six high school students trapped in a recurring time loop. Each midnight, Takahiro and the others reawaken in their school chapel, driven to locate eight scattered pieces of Haruka Mikami's dismembered corpse before dawn. They must evade a supernatural pursuer, the Red Person, during their search. Failure to gather all parts results in their deaths and resets the day, though injuries persist into the next loop.

Through the relentless cycles, Takahiro aids the group in piecing together clues about Haruka's murder and the supernatural rules binding them. The shared trauma and repeated resets forge stronger connections among the six students. During this ordeal, Takahiro grows notably closer to Asuka, developing romantic feelings. In the aftermath, after breaking the curse and losing clear memories of the loops, a school committee assignment reunites the group. Takahiro picks up his dropped tie pin, hands it to Asuka, and says, "See, I said I would find you," suggesting lingering traces of their shared experience.
