Rie Naruto is one of six high school students ensnared in a supernatural "body search." Each night, a relentless time loop traps them within their school, forcing the group to find the dismembered parts of a ghost's previous victim. Should they fail to assemble the entire corpse by dawn, they die, and the loop resets.

As a supporting member of this ensemble, Rie suffers repeated violent deaths across numerous loop iterations. Documented demises include abdominal evisceration by the Red Person during the first loop, drowning followed by mutilation in the third loop, and being devoured by a hybrid entity formed from the Red Person and another spirit in the ninth loop. Similar fatal outcomes occur in other loops, often off-screen, involving physical dismemberment and lethal assaults by supernatural entities.

The cycle continues until the group uncovers the truth behind the ghost's demise and breaks the curse. Rie Naruto's involvement persists throughout the narrative, integral to the collective struggle for survival each night and the effort to resolve the core mystery.
