Madoka Asahina is a Japanese voice actress born on December 17, 1993, in Shizuoka Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce. Asahina graduated from Amusement Media General Academy, a vocational school for voice acting and entertainment, before beginning her career in 2015.

Her early career included various minor roles and auditions. In 2015, she won the Most Excellent Award in the魔神部门 (Demon God category) at the Chain Chronicle Character Voice Audition, where she notably created and wore her own costume for the character she auditioned for. This early recognition helped establish her presence in the industry.

Asahina's first major recurring role came in 2016 when she was cast as Nene Sakura in the anime series New Game! and its sequel New Game!!. This role is considered one of her early breakthrough performances and remains one of her most recognized characters. That same year, she also voiced Mai Kawai in Pan de Peace!.

In 2017, Asahina landed her first leading role as Liones Yelistratova in Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic. She continued to build her portfolio with diverse characters, demonstrating her range as a voice actress. She voiced Sumire Takagawa (the ponytail girl) in the first three seasons of Teasing Master Takagi-san from 2018 to 2022, and Karen Kino in the Kaguya-sama: Love Is War series starting in 2019.

A significant year for Asahina was 2019, when she took on the role of Asumi Kominami in the popular series We Never Learn: Bokuben, a character that further showcased her versatility. Her performance contributed to her receiving the prestigious Newcomer Actress Award at the 14th Seiyu Awards in 2020, an accolade recognizing promising up-and-coming talent in the voice acting industry.

Her career has continued steadily with a wide variety of roles across different genres. Some of her notable credits include Selen Hemein in Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (2021), Uikyō in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki (2022), Mia Christoph in TenPuru (2023), Acieth Alla in The Devil Is a Part-Timer!! (2023), and Rumina in Murder Mystery of the Dead (2024). She also voiced Koko in the horror short anime Nanashi Kaidan in 2022.

Beyond anime television series, Asahina has lent her voice to original video animations (OVAs), such as additional episodes for We Never Learn, and numerous video games. Her game credits include Nene Sakura in New Game!: The Challenge Stage, Hinano Miyako in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, multiple characters in Azur Lane, and Vritra in Fate/Grand Order.
