Collaborating closely with faculty member Doctor Dee, Violeta spearheads transformation research. Their goal is converting ordinary humans into witches or warlocks using the flower's power. Their methods involve ethically questionable experiments, first altering animals into fantastical creatures, then progressing to human subjects. Charlotte discovered the flower on campus and witnessed Violeta and Dee's dangerous, obsessive trials.
