Frances Midford is the Marchioness Midford, a noblewoman by both birth and marriage. She is the wife of Alexis Leon Midford and mother to Edward and Elizabeth Midford. Her lineage connects her directly to the Phantomhive family as the sister of the late Vincent Phantomhive and aunt to his son, Ciel.

The Midford family is distinguished by its legacy of producing knights of exceptional skill in service to the crown. Frances, her husband, and her son upheld this tradition during the crisis aboard the luxury liner Campania. When the ship was besieged by reanimated corpses, the family refused protection and instead chose to aid the other passengers, unleashing their formidable combat prowess in defense of others.
