OVA
Description
Takuya Saotome is Yoshiki Maeda's childhood friend, having been neighbors in elementary school before a seven-year separation. They unexpectedly reunite as students at the elite Baramon Private Academy. On Yoshiki's first day as a transfer student, Takuya immediately recognizes him and initiates their reunion in the classroom.

Takuya possesses an effortlessly cheerful and easygoing personality. He openly laughs about his academic difficulties, like scoring zero on quizzes, and consistently shrugs off such setbacks. Familiar with the school's social landscape, he warns Yoshiki about delinquents such as Sakuya Mitsurugi, advising caution. Their friendship extends beyond school, with Takuya visiting Yoshiki's home and casually conversing with Yoshiki's sister, Yuu.

His home life requires him to help with household matters, preventing him from joining any school clubs and necessitating his immediate return home after classes. These domestic obligations are the only details provided regarding his background.

Throughout the narrative, Takuya primarily functions as a supportive figure within Yoshiki's social circle. He offers exposition about other characters and the school environment. His own character lacks significant development, individual conflicts, or depicted evolution in personal circumstances, relationships, or goals. His role centers on reinforcing comedic and lighthearted moments through his unflappable demeanor and enduring friendship with Yoshiki.
