Description
Haru Asagi, an 18-year-old from rural Japan, moves to Tokyo to work as a maid for the Miyanomori family, driven by necessity after her father’s illness leaves her parents and younger sisters, Tae and Fumi, in financial strain. Though initially optimistic about city life, she confronts the family’s intricate power dynamics while balancing her cheerful resilience with occasional clumsiness and naivety.

Petite and pale, she wears her long black hair in twin braids cascading to her waist, her dark grey-black eyes reflecting quiet determination. Her wardrobe shifts between a black dress with a white apron for work, a light-blue kimono at home, and a vibrant red floral-patterned kimono during rare outings.

Within the Miyanomori household, her earnest dedication gradually softens the dismissive attitudes of the brothers vying to inherit their father’s position—a contest marked by point-earning tasks to win his favor. Though focused on supporting her family, Haru unintentionally becomes a catalyst for the brothers’ personal growth and shifting alliances, remaining oblivious to their burgeoning romantic interest.

Born on March 12th, she knits in quiet moments, avoids pickled daikon radish, and treasures letters from her sisters, particularly Tae, whose shared name underscores their close bond. Her narrative centers on adapting to adversity, nurturing connections, and steadfastly prioritizing her family’s survival above all else.
