Description
Shōma Ameku is a 17-year-old male high school student, initially presented as academically exceptional and a classmate of Kiriko Kiyuna. He developed romantic feelings for Kiriko upon their first meeting and later entered a relationship with her after confessing. Initially unaware of her past as a former mecha pilot or her ability to emit HI-ERO particles—a specialized energy used against the Penguin Empire—Kiriko eventually revealed these secrets. She explained that her romantic or erotic excitement triggered the particle emission.

Shōma uniquely possesses the ability to nullify Kiriko's HI-ERO particles, discovered after he witnessed her emitting light during moments of arousal. Despite initial surprise, his feelings led him to commit to assisting her. Their relationship involved frequent romantic and occasionally erotic activities to release her HI-ERO particles for operational use. This resulted in repeated public displays of affection at school, drawing complaints from staff and annoyance from organization affiliates.

Characterized as pure-hearted and loyal, Shōma remained dedicated to Kiriko despite temptations. He frequently attempted to protect her from Penguin Empire threats but often required rescue due to his non-combatant status. His role evolved into becoming Kiriko's co-pilot, where he boosted her HI-ERO energy through physical interaction like groping her breasts.

A significant turning point occurred when the Penguin Empire captured Shōma and transformed him into a penguin. This caused him to abandon Kiriko and join their forces, deeply distressing her and motivating her efforts to reverse his condition. Later, intervention by an entity named Six (also referred to as Henry) infused HI-ERO particles into Shōma, reverting him to human form and enabling his return to Kiriko's side. Restored, he actively joined the fight against the Penguin Empire.

The dynamic between Shōma and Kiriko exemplifies a Muggle-Mage romance trope, contrasting his ordinary human status with her supernatural capabilities. Their relationship's public nature and refusal to conceal affection, despite institutional pressures, remained consistent throughout his character arc.
