Facing escalating attacks targeting the Reveal Glass's power, Meloetta sealed the ruins and fled with the guardian tribe to a peaceful forest sanctuary.
It lived within the forest village for many years, forming a bond with Ridley as he matured. Team Rocket eventually captured Meloetta. Ridley intervened, but Team Rocket escaped via helicopter. Meloetta freed itself using invisibility, forcing its captors to renew their search.
Meloetta exhibits distinct personality traits across its two forms. In its default Aria Forme, it displays profound shyness, often hiding from strangers due to its past trauma, though it warms to trusted individuals. This form exhibits feminine traits and prefers soothing others with song.
