Kenzan is a young Autobot warrior defined by an energetic, impulsive, and straightforward personality. This wild, untamed spirit fuels immense enthusiasm and bravery, driving Kenzan to charge into battle without hesitation. Such eagerness often manifests as recklessness, sparking clashes with teammates, especially Shūta, due to differing approaches. Despite this, Kenzan exhibits deep loyalty to friends and a strong sense of justice.

Originating as a trainee under the elder Lionbot on the Beast Planet, Kenzan inherited the Spark of the Green Lion, granting transformation into a green lion. After Lionbot's destruction during a Decepticon attack, Kenzan journeyed to Earth. There, Kenzan joined the newly formed Go team dedicated to defending Earth from the Decepticons.

Initially, Kenzan struggled with teamwork and discipline, frequently acting independently based on raw instinct and emotion. This independent streak caused friction within the Go team and occasionally compromised missions. Over time, through numerous battles and shared experiences confronting powerful Decepticons, Kenzan gradually matured. While retaining core enthusiasm and courage, Kenzan learned the value of cooperation, strategy, and trusting teammates. This growth involved accepting leadership roles within team formations and understanding the importance of measured actions alongside bravery.

Kenzan possesses the ability to combine with teammates into more powerful robots. Kenzan typically forms the torso component of Landbison, a combination with Shūta. Furthermore, Kenzan serves as an integral part of the ultimate combination, forming the head and torso when all three core team members unite into a single, formidable robot.

The character's journey centers on evolving from a headstrong, solitary fighter into a dependable team member who channels fierce energy effectively within a group dynamic, while maintaining an inherently passionate and bold nature.
