Description
Kyouko Kirisaki is a half-human, half-Flamian hybrid from a fire-wielding alien race. She thrives as a famous idol, actress, and singer, celebrated for starring as the fictional heroine "Magical Kyouko" in her television series. Her Flamian physiology grants pyrokinesis, enabling her to create, control, and breathe fire, often showcased as magical effects during performances. She shapes flames into temporary constructs like streams or spheres, which fade after roughly three minutes without reinforcement, and possesses complete immunity to heat and fire below her maximum output.

Initially private about her alien heritage—known only to her producers, some of whom are aliens—she maintains a kind, modest public image but reacts fiercely to threats like sexual harassment, using her flames defensively. Her personality blends warmth with playful teasing, such as joking about dates with the shy Yūki Rito, and she deeply values authentic emotions, supporting others' romantic endeavors.

Her character evolves through a close friendship with Run Elsie Jewelria, who guest-starred as her show's antagonist; their professional synergy extends to music collaborations and joint performances. Kyouko develops reluctant romantic feelings for Rito after he rescues her from aggressive fans, sparking jealousy over his proximity to Run. In later arcs, she seeks clarity on Rito's feelings for Lala Satalin Deviluke while navigating her own conflicted emotions.

Non-canonically, she appears in a virtual RPG world crafted by Lala's sisters as a corrupted "Demon King" attempting to seduce Rito, defeated when he uses a special watering can. Her design and fire abilities homage Kyoko Kirisaki from *Black Cat* (by the same illustrator, Kentaro Yabuki), though their personalities and backgrounds differ. An indirect reference in *Ayakashi Triangle* confirms shared narrative continuity across Yabuki's works.
