Description
Yura Yamato arrives at Stella Women's Academy as a timid freshman, deeply scarred by her inability to forge friendships in middle school and burdened with significant social anxiety. Her first days only intensify her feelings of isolation and uncertainty, sparking a desperate yearning to transform herself into someone capable of meaningful connections.

Her path crosses with the C³ Club, dedicated to airsoft survival games, through Rento Kirishima. Though initially hesitant and fearful of being seen as a "weirdo," Yura gradually becomes drawn in. Her vivid imagination, frequently conjuring elaborate fantasy scenarios during games and daily life, starts as an escape but unexpectedly showcases a profound capacity for immersive focus. A pivotal shift follows her first tournament loss against Meisei Academy. Criticized by club president Sonora Kashima for surrendering and wasting her teammates' sacrifices, Yura feels profound guilt. This catalyzes her active commitment to self-change, dramatically symbolized by cutting her hair short.

Her development takes a complex path. While gaining confidence and skill in airsoft, especially after Sonora's intensive training, Yura misinterprets a lesson about resilience. She cultivates an unhealthy obsession with winning "at all costs." This drive fractures her relationships within the C³ Club as she prioritizes victory over teamwork and enjoyment, culminating in instinctive cheating during a match and her departure from the club. Seeking greater rigor, she joins Rin Haruna's team at Meisei Academy. Yet her win-at-all-costs mentality persists, causing her to ignore a teammate's real injury and disobey orders, ultimately leading Rin to expel her from the team. This forces Yura into necessary self-reflection.

Confronting the consequences, Yura realizes her pursuit of victory damaged her friendships and distorted the activity's purpose. She acknowledges her mistakes and returns to the C³ Club seeking reconciliation. Her focus shifts towards rediscovering enjoyment in airsoft and fostering genuine camaraderie, demonstrated by recruiting new members and participating in Sonora's farewell game with a healthier mindset.

Physically, she possesses dark purple hair, red eyes, and stands 153 cm tall. Her primary airsoft weapon evolves from loaned guns (Tokyo Marui M9, M4A1) to a Tokyo Marui Vz. 61 Škorpion submachine gun, nicknamed "Choujirou," a significant gift from Sonora that belonged to Sonora's mentor. She also frequently uses a Tokyo Marui Glock 17/18C pistol acquired during an early game.

Key relationships define her journey. Sonora Kashima serves as her roommate, mentor, and the person whose approval she deeply seeks; their central bond strains during Yura's obsessive phase. Rento Kirishima plays the crucial role of initial recruiter into the club and later attempts to persuade her to return. Rin Haruna functions as a rival and temporary alternative mentor, whose harsh philosophy initially attracts Yura but ultimately highlights her flaws. Other C³ Club members generally support her growth, respecting her request to stop using odd nicknames and offering kindness, though they become frustrated by her increasingly serious demeanor during her descent into obsession.
