TV-Series
Description
Huit, formally titled the Alchemy Strategist Yuit, hails from the Little Elves tribe and acts as the Rebel Army's chief tactician. She is the daughter of the legendary alchemist Cyan and shares a close friendship with the weaponsmith Cattleya. As Annelotte's childhood friend, Huit persistently addresses her as "big brother," a habit from their shared youth.
Despite her genius intellect, Huit displays a childlike and sometimes spoiled nature. Her main combat strength derives from commanding Vante, an elf-like wind-up automaton built by her mother. She controls Vante using a remote device inscribed with runes, creating a vulnerability; if the remote is taken, enemies can seize control of Vante. Together, they are known as the "Alchemy Miracle."
During the Rebellion, Huit undertakes key missions. She confronts the Twin Taimashi, Tarnyang and Sainyang, after they resent a past encounter. After trapping them, she negotiates successfully with Tarnyang, securing their allegiance to the Rebels. Later, Huit leads an expedition into Calibara forest, seeking a legendary fortress mentioned in her mother's notes. Her group rescues Luna Luna, who then guides them through the jungle.
Huit is subsequently captured by Elina Vance, who intercepted the maternal memo about the fortress. Elina also confesses to stealing sacred artifacts from the Taimashi homeland, Shai-Fang. At a banquet hosted by Elina, Luna Luna creates a diversion by confronting her, enabling Huit and the twins to escape. The group secures the mobile fortress Bligh, using its power to decisively shift a crucial battle against Ymir's forces.
The anime adaptation includes an element from the *Spiral Chaos* games, showing Huit possessing a Magical Stone at her residence. Across all media, her role as the Rebel Army's tactician and her dependence on Vante remain consistent, with no documented changes to her background or core relationships.
