Alecto, also called Alector, begins as the human daughter of Caesar, a tyrant ruling post-apocalyptic Tokyo. Her life ends during one of her father's experiments, an attempt to thwart the Overfiend's prophecy. Caesar then rebuilds her as an android, implanting her original consciousness programmed for unwavering loyalty, physically and emotionally confining her within his empire. This forced transformation creates a mechanized vessel housing human memories and emotions.
Her story pivots on a desperate struggle for autonomy. To escape her father's oppressive control, she strikes a deal with Buju, a Makemono warrior. In exchange for securing his freedom, Buju agrees to transport her from Tokyo, a transaction involving a non-consensual sexual encounter. Fleeing together, they discover the infant Kyo-O—destined to oppose the Overfiend—within a Buddhist shrine. Alecto and Buju become the child's surrogate parents, shifting her path towards fierce guardianship.
Her relationship with Caesar fractures irrevocably when he uncovers her alliance with Buju and her protection of Kyo-O. In retribution, Caesar captures her and forces artificial impregnation upon her, deepening her trauma. Despite this violation, she later experiences a complex emotional reconciliation with her father. Following Caesar's defeat and death, she retrieves his severed head, a symbol of their tragic, entangled bond.
Alecto's journey concludes as she departs Earth, carrying Caesar's head into space, seeking a new existence. Her arc traces exploitation, resilience, and fragmented redemption, evolving from a victim of paternal domination into a self-determined entity.
