Sae Sadahama is married to Sachio Sadahama, and the couple resides on Shio Island. Following Kazuo Miyaura's death, Sae and Sachio host his widow, Ikuko Miyaura, and their daughter, Momo Miyaura, when they relocate from Tokyo to Shio Island. Sae is part of the household providing a home for Momo and Ikuko during their adjustment to island life.
