Description
Akemitsu Akagami, son of the infamous womanizer Harukaze Akagami, endured significant social stigma stemming from his father's actions. Initially admiring Harukaze's free-spirited lifestyle in childhood, Akemitsu gradually recognized its immorality as he matured. The family's tarnished reputation led to widespread rejection by women, with Akemitsu automatically labeled a pervert due to his surname, causing him profound shame and isolation. This motivated his determination to avoid romance and pursue academic excellence.

A chance encounter led Akemitsu to fall in love at first sight with Yuzuki Aoba. Seeking to purge his "worldly desires," he joined Mikazuki Temple believing it was male-only, only to discover it was a nunnery housing Yuzuki and other women. Compounding this, his father defaulted on a ¥20 million debt owed to the temple, forcing Akemitsu to work there as compensation. He became the temple's all-around laborer, performing maintenance, cooking, and other essential tasks to prevent its closure.

Akemitsu exhibits a polite, respectful, and protective demeanor, deeply committed to the temple's preservation and the well-being of its residents. He frequently resorts to self-inflicted harm to suppress perverse impulses, stemming from hatred of his father's legacy and fear of becoming like him. Despite his efforts toward celibacy, he experiences romantic tension with multiple female residents: Yuzuki, Tsukuyo Aoba (sharing accidental kisses), and Kagura Baldwin (his first "adult kiss"). Kurage Aoba, Yuzuki's youngest sister, repeatedly proposes marriage, though he declines due to her youth. Lifelong rejection by women fostered low self-esteem, making him oblivious to genuine romantic interest.

Physically tall and well-built with spiky red hair and red eyes, his attire shifted from casual college wear to a black monk's robe upon joining the temple, later adopting an indigo samue for work. He occasionally dons other outfits like a wedding suit during modeling or a gakuran uniform for a date with Kurage. Flashbacks reveal a middle school appearance featuring a buzz cut and spiral glasses.

He harbors intense resentment toward his father for causing his social ostracization and childhood trauma, specifically rejecting Harukaze's adage that "no one can live alone." At the temple, he develops bonds with residents, notably Yuzuki, though their interactions are often complicated by accidental ecchi situations. Kagura initially schemed to seduce him under orders but later became a genuine romantic interest. His culinary skills, honed through part-time jobs, sometimes lead to obsessive behavior and weight gain among residents.

Memory loss occasionally affects him due to severe blood loss from injuries. He retains connections from past part-time jobs, including shodo calligraphy and food delivery. An uncle, a high priest, facilitated his initial entry into monastic life.
