Description
Tomo Asama, a student at Musashi Ariadust Academy and sole heir to the Asama family, oversees the Asama Shrine aboard the city ship Musashi. Renowned as the "Sniper Maiden," her mastery of long-range archery stems from Konoha—an artificial left eye enabling precision targeting and environmental manipulation. Her striking appearance features long purple hair secured by a red ribbon and heterochromatic eyes: crimson right and emerald left. In battle, she wears a pink-and-white shrine maiden attire, contrasting her daily role with lethal elegance.

Beneath her gentle, protective nature lies a sharp temper, particularly when mocked or challenged. She retaliates against provocations under the pretense of "purification," masking aggression with ritual propriety. Though she avoids malicious intent in combat, childhood friend Toori Aoi frequently draws exceptions to this rule. Her shrine maiden duties coexist with esoteric knowledge uncommon for her role, deepening her enigmatic presence.

From childhood, Tomo exhibited fierce tendencies, exemplified by an elementary school ceremony where she unleashed a chaotic arrow barrage. Her lifelong bonds with Toori and Kimi Aoi anchor her emotional world, culminating in her pivotal act of sealing Toori’s supernatural contract. Over time, her relationship with Toori blossoms into romance, later intertwining with Horizon Ariadust and Neito Mitotsudaira in a polyamorous union.

In combat, her bow Umetsubaki synergizes with Konoha’s tactical enhancements, neutralizing air resistance and guiding arrows via her Mouse companion Hanami’s homing signals. Siege Mode sacrifices mobility to focus overwhelming firepower on massive targets like warships. Beyond warfare, her shrine maiden authority facilitates divine pacts, strategically aiding allies.

Critical missions like the Horizon Rescue Campaign and the Mikawa Meltdown Incident test her resolve as she navigates tensions between spiritual ethics and loyalty to friends. This conflict peaks during Toori’s resurrection, where she spearheads a spiritual ceremony, affirming her narrative centrality.

As a Public Morals Committee member in Class 3-Plum, she mediates disputes with disciplined authority while supporting peers like Masazumi Honda and Suzu Mukai. This duality—compassionate ally and unwavering enforcer—mirrors her broader journey reconciling duty, love, and the sacrifices each demands.
