Description
Gin Tachibana hails from Tres España's Alcalá de Henares academy, initially serving as the Student Council's 3rd Special Agent. Her life was defined by rigorous martial training under a strict father, preparing her to inherit the Tachibana household name and lead the clan. This singular purpose shifted dramatically after a duel with Muneshige Tachibana, a man she initially despised for challenging her birthright. Muneshige severed both her arms to defeat her, an act that paradoxically freed her from the clan's burdens. She subsequently married him, inheriting the historical name Tachibana Ginchiyo.
Physically, Gin possesses completely prosthetic arms, detachable and replaceable, contributing to a robotic appearance despite her otherwise organic body. She maintains a flat expression and monotonous vocal delivery, often seeming emotionless. However, beneath this exterior lies a deeply human capacity for care, particularly directed towards Muneshige, whom she supports diligently. She self-identifies as complex, drawing comparisons to figures like Futayo Honda due to similar backgrounds and her role managing intricate matters for her husband.
Her combat abilities classify her as a Style Master · Versatile Prosthetic Body User. She employs multiple integrated weapon systems:
- **Cross-Shaped Twin Swords**: Deployable from her arms for close-quarters combat or rotary defense.
- **Arcabuz Cruz**: Cross-shaped firearms used for long-range engagements.
- **Quatro Cruz**: A large cross-shaped cannon formed from external robotic arms, capable of massive explosive damage for decisive battles.
She also utilizes acceleration spells similar to Muneshige's, though less effectively, and can mysteriously summon artillery systems.
Following Muneshige's defeat by Futayo Honda during the Mikawa escort mission, Gin retrieved her injured husband and received Tadakatsu Honda's weapon, Tonbokiri. Later, after Muneshige's dismissal as Tres España's 1st Special Agent, she initiated the Armada War against Musashi to restore his position. She led Tres España's fleet against the fleeing Musashi ship, personally confronting Futayo Honda in combat. Despite her efforts, Musashi activated its Gravitational Acceleration Mode and escaped westward. After this failure, Gin returned to Alcalá de Henares, assisting Muneshige's recovery and participating in community activities like distributing sweets at orphanages with Vice President Juana.
Gin and Muneshige eventually defected to Musashi Ariadust Academy. There, both assumed roles as Assistant Vice Chancellors on the Chancellor's Board while concurrently enrolling as students in Class 3-Plum, integrating into Musashi's academic and operational structures.
