Description
Tori Aoi, known as "Me" and nicknamed "Impossible," leads as head of Musashi Ariadust Academy's Supreme Federation and student council president. Born into a family serving the Matsudaira clan, his childhood proximity fostered a close friendship with the clan's princess, Horizon Ariadust. Her death in an accident on April 20, 1638 TE, plunged him into severe depression, causing complete withdrawal from food, drink, and society. His sister, Kimi Aoi, violently intervened, suffocating him to force a realization about life's value. This trauma spurred his recovery, leading him to contract with the God of Entertainment at Asama Shrine, though the granted abilities remained sealed until later.

Despite possessing average athletic and academic skills, Tori's irrepressible cheerfulness and refusal to succumb to despair earn him deep respect at Musashi. He habitually jokes and engages in perverted antics, acting as the "boke" (comedic foil) to Horizon or Vice President Masazumi Honda's "tsukkomi" (straight man). This behavior masks a cunning strategic mind and unwavering commitment to ideals rooted in a childhood vow to create a world where all dreams come true—a philosophy inspiring his peers.

Tori's leadership faces a crisis when P-01s, an emotionless android working at a bakery, is revealed as Horizon's reincarnation. Her capture by the Testament Union after Mikawa's destruction initially leaves him lethargic. Spurred by classmates, particularly Suzu Mukai's heartfelt recollections, he orchestrates a rescue campaign. He manipulates Masazumi into debating for Horizon's freedom, securing Musashi's official support. As Viceroy of Musashi, controlling one-quarter of the ship's energy, he enters a high-stakes contract to empower allies: he can channel Musashi's ether reserves to others indefinitely for limitless combat, but the cost is permanent. He must remain eternally happy or die instantly if experiencing sadness or anger.

In the climactic confrontation aboard a Testament Union warship, Tori finds Horizon imprisoned. Faced with her emotionless logic prioritizing the Far East's safety, he engages her in a parallel debate. Exploiting their "inversely parallel" positions, he compels her to voice human desires, confirming her emotions and soul, thus freeing her from programmed constraints. A scar encircling his left shoulder symbolizes past trauma and his burden of leadership.

Tori's relationships define his effectiveness. His sister Kimi provides abrasive but foundational support, while Masazumi evolves from political rival to trusted strategist. He inspires fierce loyalty in others: Suzu Mukai's devotion strengthens his resolve, and Nate Mitotsudaira serves him as a knight. His vow to shoulder "all that is impossible" for his allies embodies his leadership, transforming perceived incompetence into a unifying force against apocalyptic threats.
