Zenoheld reigned as King of Vestal and commanded the Vexos organization, serving as the primary antagonist of the second season. He presented a regal figure with gray slicked-back hair, a bushy beard, pronounced cheekbones, and wore gold-trimmed black royal attire featuring a red fur collar, gold spiked shoulder pauldrons, and a pale green cape. During brawls, he switched to a red uniform with black gloves, army boots, and protective plating on his shoulders, chest, and waist, deploying his Bakugan and Gate Cards via a modified gauntlet. Deceitful, cruel, and arrogant, Zenoheld deliberately misled the Vestal populace about Bakugan sentience to justify their enslavement and the conquest of New Vestroia. He prioritized eliminating opponents over mere victory, frequently berating his son Prince Hydron for failures while showing misplaced trust in subordinates like Mylene Farrow and Shadow Prove. Setbacks escalated his behavior toward destructive extremism. After the Bakugan liberation, he commissioned the Bakugan Termination System for their eradication. Following its destruction, he shifted focus to the Alternative Weapon System, intending to annihilate Vestal, Earth, and the entire universe. His deteriorating mental state manifested in violent outbursts, including torturing Hydron, whom he viewed as a family disgrace. His arrogance led him to consistently underestimate the Resistance after the Vexos secured the six Attribute Energies. This overconfidence culminated in his downfall; trapped during the Alternative System's self-destruction, he pleaded with Hydron for mercy. His involvement spanned two narrative arcs. In the first, his role was largely indirect: reprimanding Hydron for failures in maintaining Dimension Controllers and authorizing the Vexos' campaign to capture the petrified Six Legendary Soldiers. He fled Vestal alongside the Vexos—excluding defectors Spectra Phantom and Gus Grav—after the Resistance exposed his Bakugan deception, relocating to a secluded palace. Driven by vengeance in the second arc, he directly engaged in brawling. He challenged the Six Ancient Warriors to seize their Attribute Energies for the Termination System, revealing his mechanical Pyrus Bakugan, Farbros. Ignoring Clay Fermin's warnings about Farbros's incomplete battle balance system, Zenoheld defeated the Warriors using advanced systems like Assail Formation and FARBAS, though they escaped and entrusted the Energies to the Resistance. Learning the Energies were dispersed across Vestal and Earth, he appointed Hydron as the Vexos's Subterra brawler, briefly acknowledging Hydron's success in securing the Haos Energy. He coordinated attacks against the Resistance, including deploying Shadow Prove to Earth. After Cross Dragonoid destroyed the Termination System, Zenoheld's rage intensified. He ordered Clay to develop the Alternative Weapon System and announced his genocidal plan to the Vexos. When Volt Luster and Lync Volan defected in protest, he commanded Hydron to eliminate them using Death Bombs. Discovering Hydron failed to destroy Lync's copy of the Alternative blueprints, he subjected Hydron to torture and imprisonment. Gus provoked the imprisoned Hydron into a cell brawl, enabling their escape. In the final confrontation, Zenoheld battled Spectra and Gus, overpowering them by merging Farbros with the Alternative System. During the Resistance's assault, Hydron intervened, directing Dryoid to fatally stab Farbros and trap Zenoheld inside the exploding Alternative, killing Zenoheld, Hydron, and Clay. Zenoheld's primary Bakugan was the mechanical Pyrus Farbros, created by Clay Fermin and augmented with systems like Assail Formation for enhanced combat. Farbros was destroyed twice: first during the Motherpalace battle and again permanently in the Alternative's explosion. Through the Alternative System, he utilized digital clones of Bakugan including Snapzoid, Farakspin, Clawsaurus, and Lumitroid. Zenoheld received mentions in subsequent seasons through dialogue recalling past events. He appeared in non-interactive cutscenes and posters for the video game *Bakugan: Defenders of the Core*. He maintained an undefeated brawl record until his final battle, and every one of his on-screen brawls involved a Subterra Bakugan. He was among the few depicted adult brawlers.
