His driving ambition is to secure the Ark of Sirius, a powerful relic he believes will allow him to create new vampires and ensure his kind's survival, potentially countering a degenerative vampire disease.

He notably favors Mikhail over other clan members, treating him as a trusted subordinate despite resentment from others who view Mikhail as stubborn and disloyal. Yevgraf himself transformed Mikhail into a vampire by biting him during the attack on the Sirius village of Dogville, deliberately harnessing Mikhail's loyalty for the search.

Yevgraf wields formidable vampire physiology, granting superhuman strength demonstrated by effortlessly halting Mikhail's full-force assaults and heightened agility allowing him to counter high-speed attacks without strain. His powers include flight, the ability to transform humans into vampires, and a unique "human magnetization" enabling him to attract or influence other vampires through his pupils.

His relentless pursuit concludes in southern Karafuto (Sakhalin), the former site of Sirius civilization, where he finally obtains the Ark. Instead of granting power, the relic consumes him. In his final moments, he attempts an attack on the Royal Vampire Tamara but is interrupted and prevented by Yuliy's intervention.
