TV-Series
Description
Iwa E. Hansoro initially serves as a driver for the Galaxy Tourist Bureau and assistant to Colin, maintaining respectful conduct toward colleagues and rivals while secretly loyal to the Guild. His appearance features brown hair with a distinctive forehead tuft, green eyes, and signature black sunglasses with white frames and red centerpieces, typically paired with a brown suit, white undershirt, and red tie.

A proficient card battler favoring red-themed decks, he wields spirits like Ultimate-Gai-Asura and The PhantomStarDragon Gai-Asura. Early exploits include offscreen victories over the Triumvirate to validate his credibility. During a duel against Zero the Azure, he avoids revealing his true name, suggesting hidden allegiances. Later, he confronts and defeats Basilla on a vegetable planet, seizing Basilla's deck to deliver to Guild leader Miroku.

His loyalty fractures upon discovering Miroku’s plan to summon the Reverse 12 Zodiac Braves from another dimension, aiming to destabilize space. This sparks a moral crisis, prompting Hansoro to steal Miroku’s dimensional documents to protect the Guild’s original mission of cosmic order. Miroku tracks him via a concealed device, confronts him, and duels him. In their clash, Hansoro voices his disillusionment, defending the Guild’s foundational role in preventing interstellar conflict and condemning Miroku’s betrayal.

Defeated, Hansoro endures memory erasure as punishment. Miroku destroys his ship and abandons him in a snowy wasteland to die. Rei later rescues him, though he retains no identity or past recall. His battle record notes victories against Basilla and the Triumvirate, with losses to Rei (twice), Kiriga, and Miroku.

Trivia suggests his name may pun on "Han Solo," reflecting his driver role and narrative arc of betrayal and amnesia.
