Description
Nineteen-year-old college freshman Aoi Tokura lives with his older brother and works part-time as a waiter at the Rainy Color café. His soft features, amber blonde hair, and sapphire blue eyes often cause customers to mistake him for a girl. On shift, he wears a cloudy gray collared shirt with a red tie, light black pants, sneakers, and the café's earthy brown apron bearing its logo.

Aoi's connection to Rainy Color began on a difficult day. Insulted by a stranger, Keiichi Iwase, on a train, he sought shelter in the rain and discovered the café. Finding comfort in a cup of hot cocoa, he soon started working there, carrying a strong initial dislike for Iwase from their train encounter. This dynamic shifts when Iwase becomes a regular customer, leaving Aoi confused by his developing feelings towards the man. Aoi's personality blends deep respect for his brother with a quickness to bristle at Iwase's remarks.

His daily life centers around Rainy Color, interacting with colleagues like barista Shion Koga and regular patrons, including Iwase and fellow student Ryota Sakuragi. Serving a diverse clientele at the café shapes his social world and experiences. This setting provides the backdrop for his evolving relationships, particularly the complex navigation of initial friction and gradual connection with Iwase.

Throughout the series' seasons, Aoi remains anchored at Rainy Color. While specific developments in later installments like "Ame-Con!!" or "side G" are not documented, his core traits endure: the appearance-related misunderstandings, his café job, the complex dynamic with Iwase, and his college life.
