Description
Mackenzie Mack, born Kenzaki Makoto, was a royal guard from the kingdom of Splendorius charged with protecting Princess Marie Ange. When the Mercenares invaded their homeland, their escape to Earth resulted in separation from the princess. Forced to adopt the human alias "Mackenzie Mack," she pursued a career as a pop idol. This strategy aimed to attract public attention and locate the missing princess through her music, a plan propelled by her debut single's significant commercial success.

Her personality blends a strong sense of justice with stubborn self-reliance. Preferring initially to work alone to avoid endangering others, this stems from deep regret over failing to defend Splendorius and a belief that solitude minimizes harm. Despite a rational demeanor, she exhibits cultural unfamiliarity with Earth's customs, often appearing flustered by kindness and struggling to express genuine emotions. Only her pixie partner, Davi—who also acts as her human-world manager—fully understands her inner thoughts.

Key relationships define her development. Her loyalty to Princess Marie Ange borders on devotion, and their separation fuels her initial motivations. Davi provides unwavering support, managing her idol activities while encouraging emotional openness. Initially distrustful of fellow Glitter Force members, especially Maya Aida (Glitter Heart), she gradually accepts their assistance after recognizing their resolve. Her rivalry with Regina, daughter of the primary antagonist, evolves into reluctant trust after Regina saves Maya.

Character development occurs through teamwork and confronting past trauma. Early episodes depict her as a solitary figure burdened by guilt, but persistent outreach from Maya and the team challenges her isolationist tendencies. A pivotal moment arises when she accepts a theater role as Snow White, initially declined due to her mission; this leads to acquiring the Purple Royal Crystal after reconciling with a jealous co-star. Another arc involves career doubts, where Aguri Madoka's blunt criticism and Maya's encouragement help her recommit to both idol and Glitter Force responsibilities. Her eventual acceptance of Princess Marie Ange's fate and reconciliation with Regina signify emotional closure.

As Glitter Spade, her transformation sequence springs to life when she raises her Glitter Pad and declares "Glitter Force Makeover." Her theme color is purple, featuring a spade suit motif. Attacks include Sparkle Flash, summoning energy swords, and Sparkle Sword, firing spade-shaped projectiles. Group techniques involve Togetherness Power Arrow (with Glitter Heart, Diamond, and Clover) and Royal Lovely Straight Flush (adding Glitter Ace). Power manifests as a potent purple aura when embracing full strength, enhancing combat capabilities. Angelic wings appear during Royal Lovely Straight Flush.

Trivia notes include her prior role as a royal guard lasting only one month and Splendorius's tradition of quiet hymn services, contrasting sharply with Earth's idol concerts. Her cultural adjustments highlight her background, like initial confusion over human-world social norms. Her Glitter Spade identity shares naming conventions with Kamen Rider Blade's protagonist, both featuring spade motifs and card-suit themes.
