Without hair conditioner, his hair becomes exceptionally hard and bristly, standing upright like defensive quills. For casual wear, he dons a periwinkle kimono with white polka dots and a long red hakama. Shinbei exhibits a relaxed, happy-go-lucky, and kind personality. Academically, he often processes information slower than his peers, particularly Rantarou Inadera and Kirimaru Settsuno, frequently relying on their support. Despite this, he demonstrates moments of unexpected insight and possesses significant physical strength.
