Teiyū Ichiryūsai is a Japanese voice actress and kōdan-shi, a professional storyteller of a traditional Japanese narrative art. She was born Mieko Suzuki on June 20, 1958, in Osaka, Japan, and began her career in voice acting in 1981. In addition to her work as a voice actress, she is a licensed practitioner of kōdan, having trained under Rokudaime Ichiryūsai Teisui. She joined as a deshi in 1992, became a zenza in 1993, was promoted to futatsume in 1996, and achieved the highest rank of shin'uchi in 2004.

Ichiryūsai is best known for several long-running and iconic roles in Japanese anime. Since 1992, she has voiced the character Masao Sato in the television series Crayon Shin-chan. She has also played the role of Sumire Sakura, the mother of the protagonist, in Chibi Maruko-chan since 1990. Another of her most prominent and enduring roles is that of Shinbee Fukutomi in Nintama Rantarō, a part she has played since the series began in 1993. She has reprised the role of Shinbee for the series' theatrical films, including the 2024 film Gekijō-ban Nintama Rantarō Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyō no Gunshi.

Her career includes a wide range of other voice roles in major anime series from the 1980s and 1990s. Some of these include Bat in Fist of the North Star, Becky in Princess Sarah, Hikaru Matsuyama in the original Captain Tsubasa, and Naoto Hamamoto in Ganbare, Kickers!. She has also had roles in the Gundam franchise as Manuela Panopa in Mobile Suit Gundam F91 and as various characters in the Anpanman series. Her voice work extends to video games, such as Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, and to Japanese dubs of foreign films, including providing the voice for the character of Natalie McDonald in the Japanese-language version of the Harry Potter film series.

In addition to her anime roles, Ichiryūsai has worked extensively as a narrator for television programs and commercials. Her narration credits include the NHK program Asaichi and the TBS series Nスタ. She also provided the voice for the character Moo-nyan in the NHK educational program Narikiri! Moo-nyan no Ikimono Gakuen.
