Description
Tokitoh Minoru awoke with complete amnesia, discovered unconscious in an alley by Kubota Makoto. His sole link to a forgotten past is a bracelet engraved "Minoru," adopted as his surname. His most striking feature is a mutated right hand resembling a beast's paw—covered in fur and tipped with feline claws—which he hides beneath a black glove. This mutation causes agonizing intermittent pain and mirrors the condition seen in deceased users of the drug Wild Adapter (W·A). Tokitoh alone survived exposure to W·A, though the reason remains unknown.
Fragmented flashbacks and nightmares torment him with glimpses of a menacing figure named Akira, who addressed him as "Minoru." These memories trigger violent distress, exemplified when he shattered Kubota's arm upon hearing the name. Despite this, Tokitoh gradually cultivates trust and security around Kubota, though his history stays shrouded.
Impulsive, loud, and stubborn, Tokitoh often masks fear or discomfort with aggression. Yet he demonstrates straightforward loyalty and kindness toward his inner circle, embodying feline-like traits that earn him nicknames like "stray cat." He greets unfamiliar experiences with childlike curiosity, peppering Kubota with questions. Though passionate about interests like video games, his impatience frequently destroys controllers. He forges few bonds but showers genuine affection on Kubota, calling him "Kubo-chan" while exhibiting fierce protectiveness and jealousy.
In an alternate universe, Tokitoh serves alongside Kubota as enforcement for their school’s student council. They confront human and supernatural disruptions, often through physical clashes. His athletic prowess shines during school tournaments.
