Hideo Ishikawa is a prominent Japanese voice actor and narrator born on December 13, 1969, in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with Aoni Production, a major talent agency. His path to voice acting began with an educational background in music, having studied at the Aoni Juku Tokyo School after previously attending the相爱大学 music department's vocal program and a broadcasting arts college.

Ishikawa's career spans several decades, during which he has become known for his versatile vocal range, often portraying characters with deep, stoic voices as well as those who are more lighthearted. A significant point in his career was taking over the role of Ryoma Nagare for the Getter Robo franchise from his mentor, the veteran voice actor Kamiya Akira, a transition that held deep personal significance for him.

He is widely recognized for several iconic roles in major anime series. He is the voice of Itachi Uchiha in the Naruto series, Jūshirō Ukitake in Bleach, and Genjūrō Kazanari in the Senki Zesshō Symphogear series.
