Romani Archaman, initially known as Dr. Roman, heads the medical department and later acts as director of the Chaldea Security Organization during the Grand Order conflicts. His true origin reveals him as Solomon, King of Magecraft, summoned by Marisbury Animusphere using one of Solomon's rings. After winning the Fuyuki Holy Grail War with Marisbury, Solomon used the Grail's power to wish for a human life, rebirthing him as an entirely new person separate from his heroic spirit identity. This transformation severed his connection to King Solomon, stripping him of magic circuits and clairvoyance. Reborn, he traveled the world, earned a doctorate, and joined Chaldea in 2005 as an unusually young head of medical services. During his tenure, he became involved with Mash Kyrielight, the subject of Chaldea's Demi-Servant experiment involving Galahad. He named her and advocated for her inclusion as a Master candidate after Marisbury's death, later intervening to protect her from Beryl Gut. His personality reflects his new humanity, marked by realism, underlying pessimism, and a tendency to use wishful thinking as a coping mechanism. He maintains superficial but friendly relationships to avoid emotional pain, earning an "everybody's friend" reputation. He often defaults to observation or inaction when faced with decisions until compelled to act. His reliance on the internet idol "Magi⭐Mari" (later revealed as Merlin) for guidance underscores his uncertainties. Throughout the Grand Order missions, he provides remote support from Chaldea, overseeing operations across singularities including Babylonia. He conceals his true identity while privately working to counter Goetia's plan to incinerate humanity—a plan he foresaw upon becoming human but initially lacked the power to prevent. During the Final Singularity, he reveals himself as Solomon to confront Goetia, activating his Noble Phantasm, Ars Nova. This erases Solomon from the Throne of Heroes and sacrifices his own existence to dismantle Goetia's power. He explicitly states that while Solomon disappears, his human self, Romani Archaman, may not necessarily die at that moment. Later developments indicate a figure identifying as Romani Archaman reappears during the "Ordeal Call" phase following the Lostbelt conflicts. This figure declares himself Chaldea's enemy but provides crucial information about the Human Order's barrier and the method to overcome it—the Ordeal Call trials meant to reconcile Chaldea's use of Extra Class Servants with the Human Order. His unexpected involvement, cryptic statements, and a correction about the number of trials suggest a complex connection to the original Romani. Physically, he possesses distinct fluffy coral hair and wears gloves that conceal Solomon's tenth ring—the key to activating Ars Nova when reunited with the other nine rings. This ring remained his sole link to his past power despite losing his magical abilities as a human.
