Description
Mu La Flaga descended from aristocracy. His father, Al Da Flaga, deemed him genetically impure due to his mother's DNA and created a clone successor, Rau Le Creuset. Both parents died in a fire at their home. He entered military service, becoming a veteran mobile armor pilot celebrated as the "Hawk of Endymion" after destroying five ZGMF-1017 GINNs with his TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero during the Battle of Endymion Crater—a feat previously considered impossible. This battle also revealed an extrasensory connection with Rau Le Creuset, establishing their rivalry.

His exceptional spatial awareness allowed mastery of the Moebius Zero's remotely controlled gunbarrels, placing him among the rare pilots capable of operating such systems. During the Battle of Heliopolis, he joined the Archangel crew after his assigned ship was destroyed. He declined command of the vessel, instead supporting Lieutenant Murrue Ramius as captain while serving as combat advisor and mobile armor pilot. He demonstrated openness toward Coordinators, notably mentoring Kira Yamato and providing strategic guidance that balanced Murrue's idealism and Natarle Badgiruel's strict protocol adherence. His recurring motto, "make the impossible possible," reflected his confident, carefree demeanor.

In the Second Battle of Jachin Due, he seemingly perished shielding the Archangel's bridge from the Dominion's positron cannon in the Strike Gundam. However, footage revisions in later editions obscured his fate, leaving survival ambiguous. He resurfaced during the Second Alliance-PLANT War as Neo Roanoke, commander of the Earth Alliance's Phantom Pain unit, after rescue and brainwashing by Logos. As Neo, he captained the stealth ship Girty Lue and directed the Extended pilots—Stella Loussier, Sting Oakley, and Auel Neider. While displaying occasional sympathy for the Alliance-treated-as-equipment Extended, he manipulated them under Lord Djibril's orders, including erasing Stella's memories and deploying her in the GFAS-X1 Destroy Gundam despite promises. His Neo personality was colder and more calculating, though he retained verbal mannerisms similar to his original self.

Captured by the Archangel during a Berlin battle, he defected to Orb Union's defense force. Exposure to familiar environments and people gradually restored his memories. By Cosmic Era 75, he fully regained his identity and piloting prowess, operating the ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam—a mobile suit compatible with remote weaponry maximizing his spatial awareness. In the conflict culminating in *Final Plus: The Chosen Future*, he participated in the decisive battle over Orb's future, utilizing the Akatsuki to intercept the Requiem superweapon's beam, an act embodying his trademark capability to achieve the impossible.

Throughout his military service, he maintained a close relationship with Murrue Ramius, which evolved into a romantic connection during their refuge in Orb. His genetic link to Rau Le Creuset (as clones of Al Da Flaga) and later Rey Za Burrel explained their mutual extrasensory awareness, a recurring element in his combat encounters.
