Originally aspiring to become a god worshipped by humanity, this spirit formed the laughter-based cult LOL, controlling followers through hexed smile masks. After targeting Mob for recruitment, he was defeated by Mob’s psychic powers during a confrontation at 100% Rage. Reforming the next day, he approached Mob’s home. Though initially planning to possess Mob eventually, he instead began collaborating under the condition of avoiding terrible actions. Brash and humorous, he uses nicknames like "Shige-chan" for Mob until corrected. Despite his carefree demeanor, he exhibits high perceptiveness, recognizing psychological complexes such as Teru’s superiority complex or Ritsu’s inferiority complex. He possesses extensive knowledge about psychic phenomena, including spirit behavior and psychic awakening methods. His motives shifted significantly: from manipulating Mob for godhood to desiring Mob’s own ascension as a deity. He displayed genuine concern during critical moments, searching for Mob in a burning house and shielding him from traumatic sights. When Mogami separated Mob’s soul, he protected Mob’s body at great personal risk and later entered a mental mindscape to help restore Mob’s memories. Key development occurred during the Divine Tree arc, where he gained godly powers but expressed admiration for Mob’s humility and growth in resolving conflicts through understanding rather than force. He adopted Mob’s philosophy about hard-earned strength surpassing psychic abilities. His abilities include possession to unlock a body’s full potential—though powerful psychics require permission for full control—along with mass hypnosis and energy attacks like the Wraither Beam. His history remains fragmented, with no memories of human life; his earliest recollection is existing as a spirit in a cemetery. Decades before meeting Mob, he led a spirit gang until nearly exorcised by Mogami.
