Description
Gorzan swings into battle as a warrior of the Gorilla Tribe of Chima, wielding immense physical strength alongside a profoundly sensitive and caring spirit directed toward friends, nature, and even adversaries. His gentle, mellow nature surfaces outside combat, where he winces at trampled flowers during skirmishes and feels guilt over inflicted pain. This sensitivity guides his social interactions, leading him to avoid leadership titles to prevent offending fellow tribe members. Yet, a competitive streak ignites during events like Speedorz races, sparking frustration in defeat.

Physically, Gorzan manifests as an anthropomorphic gorilla clad in black fur with blue skin, marked by distinctive light yellow war paint across his face and body. His green tongue and evolving attire stand out: he begins with a dark brown CHI necklace and basic armor, adopts detailed silver armor (episodes 22-26), transitions to standard red and golden fire attire (episodes 32-41), and dons specialized armor for specific confrontations like the battle against Sparratus of the Spider Tribe.

His background names him adopted brother to G'Loona and prince of the Gorilla Tribe. Early life features tribal gatherings like hide-and-seek alongside figures such as Laval and Cragger, and competition in the first CHI-day tournament. Key conflicts define his journey: rescuing Laval from Cragger in the Falling Jungle; defending flowers from Ravens and Wolves in "The Warrior Within" using his Gorilla Striker mech; assisting in joyrides gone awry and Market Day races, sometimes distracted into mishaps; mobilizing Gorilla Mechs against the Wolf Tribe's Hundred Year Moon rampages; and joining the Lions' defense during Cragger's Lion City assault, providing CHI orbs and standing with Lagravis.

His journey extends to the Outlands, aiding in the rescue of Legend Beasts to restore Mount Cavora's CHI waterfalls. He later helps repurpose Lavertus' Outland home into a museum after the Crawler's defeat. Supporting Fire Tribe integration, he combats the Ice Hunter Tribes in ambushes and Fire Wing retrieval missions. During the final Hunter battle, he partners with Worriz as a gunner hunting enemy remnants.

Supplemental media features include web shorts like "The Rumble in the Jungle" and video games *Legends of Chima: Speedorz* and *Laval's Journey*. His arsenal evolves across sets, encompassing the Banana Buster, Dual Devidar, CHI Cudgellor hammer, Burner Basha, and Ultimate Fire Hamma. The Banana Buster, designed to fire bananas as ammunition, originated from playtesting insights about the fruit's imaginative appeal. His Gorilla Striker mech, noted for dark azure parts and a banana cannon, underwent multiple design iterations balancing aesthetics and play features like chest-mounted Chi crystals and cockpit visibility.

Gorzan concludes his story peacefully, winning a revived Market Day race and gathering with allies at Forever Rock to discuss Chima's origins. His final actions depict collaborative efforts sustaining Chima's safety and harmony.
