Description
Miroku Shingari is a 16-year-old idol affiliated with Brave Entertainment and member of KiLLER KiNG. He has short grey hair and piercing purple eyes with a turquoise blue tint, complemented by a conch piercing on his left ear. Standing 181cm tall and weighing 65kg, consistent gym workouts and muscle training sculpt his muscular yet lean physique, often showcased in figure-hugging tops.
Born May 15th, Miroku grew up in a strict household with both parents working as teachers, instilling a drive to be number one. To counter potential childhood bullying linked to his small stature and quiet nature, his parents enrolled him in a dojo run by Akane's grandfather. There, he began practicing judo alongside Akane, forging a decade-long childhood friendship. Their bond solidified when, watching television, they discovered the Bambi Project. Despite Miroku's initial reluctance about idol life and his parents' disapproval favoring academics, they auditioned together. Miroku diligently balanced school and training to earn parental approval.
As a Bambi trainee, Miroku maintained emotional distance, masking a fierce work ethic behind a reserved exterior; his achievements stemmed from significant effort, not assumed innate talent. He occasionally modeled for teen magazines and commuted from Shizuoka to Tokyo with Akane for lessons before moving into the dorms. A pivotal conflict arose when Thrive (Bambi's debut unit) initially included Akane, only for Akane to be cut later. While Miroku advanced with Thrive, he felt unspoken relief about not separating from Akane but failed to adequately comfort his friend, leaving lasting regrets for both. Akane later debuted with KiLLER KiNG alongside Miroku and the Teramitsu twins after three years of joint training.
Miroku exhibits a quiet, stoic personality with a competitive edge. He meticulously researches and prepares for professional commitments, extending this perfectionism to hobbies like cooking, repeating dishes until mastery. He avoids carbohydrates when possible, prioritizing nutrition. His interests include diving, visiting aquariums, consuming chocolate mint, appreciating cold morning air, and pre-stage muscle training to alleviate tension. He dislikes confined spaces, cold environments, and noise. Beneath his reserve lies deep care for friends; he rejects pity from seniors, insisting on equal standing. Akane remains his closest confidant (familiar with his body, including 17 moles). Kento shares health-focused discussions and offers mentorship, while Tsubasa serves as an emotional anchor and admired adult figure. He maintains a friendly rivalry with Tatsuhiro, the only senior besides Akane matching his athleticism.
A panther symbolizes him, aligning with his "Highly Aware Stoic Panther" epithet. His name derives from Miroku Bosatsu, a significant Bodhisattva in Japanese Buddhism.
