Brustom ruled the blue world and founded the Grand Rolo Championship, enslaving competitors such as Suzuri Hideto as victor's prizes. Observing the tournament, he identified the potential within the bearers of core's light. After the event, he fought and defeated the champion, Bashin Dan, enabling Dan's capture by Yuuki's forces. Brustom then hunted the remaining bearers, devising a strategy to burn the green world to flush them out; this tactic succeeded initially, though they ultimately escaped.

He later confronted Dan and Clackey at Namii's castle, fighting beside his father, Heliostom. Throughout this battle, Heliostom constantly bullied Brustom, whose performance suffered under the pressure. The arrival of his mother, Ryoko, heightened his nervousness further. Despite Dan and Clackey struggling initially with the tag battle format, they adapted and defeated the father-son pair. Following their loss, Ryoko discovered Brustom's role in destroying the green world and expressed strong disapproval.

As punishment, Brustom was assigned to replant the trees he destroyed. Accompanied by Suzuri during this task, he witnessed Dan's final battle against the Otherworld King. Brustom's personality blended a domineering, gluttonous exterior with an underlying gentleness, often manifesting as fearfulness towards his parents. He collected and played rare cards, believing them superior. Physically, he appeared as a large, bearded man with blue hair.

His battle record includes a victory over Dan in episode 22 and a loss in a tag battle (with Heliostom against Dan and Clackey) across episodes 33-34.
