Description
VAVA, known as Vile in English-language media, originates from the Mega Man X universe. Initially an SA-Class Maverick Hunter in the 17th Elite Unit under Sigma, an irregularity in his electronic brain caused excessively violent tendencies. This led to his removal from duty and imprisonment prior to "The Day of Sigma." Sigma's rebellion facilitated his escape, allowing him to fully embrace destructive behavior.

Operating as a rogue element within the Maverick Hunters during "The Day of Sigma," VAVA harbored intense envy and resentment toward X, partly stemming from perceiving X as inferior despite X's advanced design. At Central Highway, he ambushed X using specialized Ride Armor, demonstrating tactical cunning by overpowering X with paralysis-inducing weaponry. Zero intervened, damaging VAVA's Ride Armor and forcing his retreat. Later, at Sigma's hideout, VAVA captured Zero using upgraded Ride Armor, attempting to use him as bait for X. After X broke free from paralysis, VAVA engaged in direct combat but was ultimately defeated.

His design features a distinct purple and gold armored body with a T-shaped visor helmet and an integrated shoulder cannon. Personality-wise, VAVA exhibits arrogance, nihilism, and a penchant for destruction. He strategically employs traps and environmental advantages, though his obsession with defeating X sometimes overrides self-preservation.

Beyond "The Day of Sigma," VAVA's remains were salvaged and rebuilt as Vile MK-II by Dr. Doppler. This upgraded form independently pursued vengeance against X and Zero, ignoring Doppler's commands. He later appeared in the Jakob Elevator incident with a heightened nihilistic worldview, ultimately performing a kamikaze attack on the moon after defeat. His history includes digital recreations within Mother Computer archives and optional encounters where specific weaknesses determine his survival. VAVA pilots various Ride Armor models across conflicts, employing tactics like dash attacks, explosive projectiles, and electroshock bullets.
