Hiroshi Shimozaki is a Japanese voice actor born on September 25, 1977, in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. He began his career in voice acting in 1999, with one of his earliest roles being in the anime Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal. Since then, he has built a extensive career, contributing his voice to a wide variety of anime series, films, and video games over several decades.

Shimozaki is perhaps best known for his long-running role as the Ox-Faced Middle Class Yōkai in the beloved Natsume Yujin-cho (Natsume's Book of Friends) series. He first voiced the character in 2008 and continued in the role across multiple television seasons, including Natsume Yujin-cho Go and Roku, as well as in several animated films such as Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond and Natsume Yujin-cho: Ishi Okoshi to Ayashiki Raihousha. This role is a prime example of his frequent work in the fantasy genre, often portraying妖怪 (yōkai) or other supernatural beings.

Another of his notable recurring roles is as the personification of Denmark in the popular comedy anime Hetalia, appearing in multiple seasons including Hetalia The World Twinkle.
