Bottom is an ancient demonic entity defeated and sealed away 1,000 years before the film's events. His consciousness endured within a purple jewel submerged near Fairy Park. Reawakened by accumulating dark desires, he sought vengeance by plunging the world into eternal darkness and eradicating all hope.
He manifests in two distinct forms. Initially, he appears as an incorporeal astral spirit emerging from the jewel—an undefined black entity with sharp red eyes. After absorbing the Rainbow Jewel’s power, he transforms into a colossal, monstrous giant dwarfing Fairy Park’s island. This final form possesses clawed limbs, a massive mouth filled with rows of sharp teeth, and the ability to fire destructive energy blasts.
His personality is defined by absolute hatred for Pretty Cure and humanity's hope. He exerts dictatorial control over his subordinates, pursuing omnicidal goals to reduce Earth to a "living hell" of darkness, sorrow, and despair. He views hope as a weakness to be destroyed and frequently mocks the Cures’ efforts, declaring their cause futile once he possesses the Rainbow Jewel.
In the film, his plan involves reviving defeated antagonists from multiple factions—Dotsuku Zone, Dark Fall, Nightmare, Eternal, and Labyrinth—as his minions. He commands them to locate and steal the Rainbow Jewel, a mystical artifact sustaining Fairy Park and linked to the Miracle Lights. After his minions secure the jewel, he arrives personally to seize it, corrupting Fairy Park and splitting the Cures into isolated dimensions.
