Description
Airzel, a Gundalian serving Emperor Barodius within the Imperial Orders, captains the Gundalian Forces. He specializes in enemy surveillance and information analysis while also serving as the top trainer for the Special Bakugan Team. His battlefield leadership and strategic brawling expertise stem significantly from his master-student relationship with mentor Gill, whom he follows closely.
As the Ventus brawler for the Orders, Airzel partners with the Guardian Bakugan Ventus Strikeflier, equipped with Battle Turbine. He displays fierce loyalty to Barodius and Gill but holds strong disdain for Kazarina, another Order member. He openly declared her "ridicule and treachery" warranted severe consequences and expressed no remorse for her fate.
Airzel consulted early with Barodius on threats like Linehalt, Blazikor, Drago, and Leonidas, criticizing Stoica's lack of seriousness and revealing friction among the Orders. He participated in key operations, including plans to recruit Earth brawlers for acquiring the Elements.
During the assassination of Kazarina by Gill and Jakku, Airzel and Unalak intervened in an attempt to help them escape as Phantom Dharak prepared to execute them for the betrayal, though the effort failed. Later, when Gill remained behind under suspicious circumstances during a Neathian mission, Stoica confronted Airzel and forced him to confess Gill's plot against Kazarina. This confession was broadcast to Barodius via speakerphone, exposing the conspiracy.
Airzel met his end during the final assault on Neathia to seize the Sacred Orb. Alongside Lythirus, he blinded Dragonoid Colossus to enable Dharak's attack. However, Phantom Dharak betrayed and killed both Airzel and Lythirus during the confrontation.
Noted as the youngest member of the Major Imperial Orders, Airzel never insulted Nurzak. His appearance features hair covering one eye, similar to Zenet. His personality is characterized by unwavering loyalty to his superiors and a ruthless, pragmatic approach towards adversaries he deems treacherous.
