Lyon Smith

Lyon Smith is a Canadian voice actor and composer born on December 19, 1979. His career in animation has included voice work for a variety of animated series, particularly in the dubbing of anime for English-language audiences. Early in his career, he contributed to English adaptations of prominent anime franchises such as Sailor Moon and Beyblade.
Smith is known for his work within the Bakugan franchise, where he voiced multiple characters across different series. He provided the English voice for Prince Hydron in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia. His involvement with the franchise extended further as he also voiced Airzel in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: Gundalian Invaders, Masquerade, Kosuke, and a character credited as "the player" in earlier Bakugan Battle Brawlers installments. Smith was also the English voice for the character Magma in the anime series Spider Riders and its related title, Spider Riders: Yomigaeru Taiyou.
Beyond these roles, Smith voiced the character Irwin Dexter in the animated series Detentionaire. His body of work also includes a role in the series Get Ed and voice contributions to The Adventures of Chuck & Friends. In addition to his on-screen voice acting, Smith has worked as a composer, designing music for film and theatre since the 1980s, and has also been involved in video game voice work, such as in Biohazard Zero.
